Seven Rotarians in the Year 1994, formed a registered society called “Associated of Management Studies”, with Rotarian Yogesh Mohanji Gupta, as its chairman, with on aim of imparting quality Management and Technical Education. The society since inception has played a pioneer role in catering the requirement of 21st Century. It’s strong ties with the Business Community makes it an effective mechanism for the promotion of Professional Management and Technical Practices in India Organisations.
The society laid the foundation of “IIMT Management College” in the year 1994, offering Management Programmes, which became the first AICTE, approved college of Meerut. The main thrust of imparting Management Education is to imbibe a sense of strategic outlook in the students towards management problems.
Today the society has Five Education Campus, 15 Colleges and One school under the IIMT Flagship. The Colleges of IIMT are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, and Government of India and affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.
IIMT Group of Colleges has a cluster of Administrative Staff, Faculty, Office Blocks, Fully Equipped Classrooms, Computer Labs, Central and Departmental Libraries, Seminar Conference Halls, Residential Accommodation for Students and Staff, Bank facility etc. The biggest strength of the Institute is in its renowned faculty members having distinguished academic achievements in different areas of management and the related basic disciplines. In order to have progressive outlook and to introduce innovative teaching-learning process, the faculty plans to carry out consultancy assignments to keep in touch with the Real-Life Management Problems in Public and Private Corporations, Financial Institution, Government and International Agencies.
We also have students from Nepal, Thailand, South Korea and Afghanistan Studying at IIMT.

IIMT offers MBA, MCA, PGDBM, M.Tech (Computer Science), B.Tech (CS, IT, EC, EN, CE, ME), BHMCT, B. Pharma, BJMC, B.Sc. (Home Science), B.Sc. (Bio Tech), B.Sc(Microbiology) LLB (3 years & 5 years), B.Ed & M.Ed in Meerut Campus where as MBA, MCA, PGDBM, B.Tech (CS, EC, ME, EI), B.Pharma, BBA, BCA & B.Ed are running in Greater Noida Campus.
IIMT also offers one year Post Graduate Diploma course in Marketing and Sales Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, GNM and BPT.
From the academic session 2008 IIMT is also offering Distance Education Programme as Full time course affiliated from Punjab Technical University (PTU) in MBA, MCA, M.Sc. (HMCT) B.Sc. (HMCT) BBA, BCA
Balancing human values and ethics together, the society has also structured Dharam Prasar Samiti, which is engaged in the marriage of poor girls and organizing religious activities, through which students got the opportunity to contribute their indulgence in the social and community services.
With an aim of demonstrating a passion for excellence, the society has equipped this college with boundless energy and drive.
