The scholastic year begins in April each year and comprised of three terms : April-August, September-December and January-March. The School is affiliated to the “Council FOR THE INDIAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATIONS NEW DELHI”. It prepares students firstly, at the secondary level (classes IX & X) for Indian council for secondary Education ICSE, and eventually they move up to “PLUS TWO” level (classes XI & XII) that leads them to INDIAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION ISC, in HUMANITIES, SCIENCE AND COMMERCE.

Evaluation of Scholastic Activities

Regular Parent-Teacher meeting are an important feature of our academic system. School curriculum is in strict accordance with the latest guide linesof ICSE Board New Delhi, Academic performance of each child is evaluated andproperly recorded by conducting regular unit tests and project work throughout the year. Quarterly, half yearly and final examinations are conducted at the end of each academic term. Their performanceis assessed and communicated to the parents on a regular basis. Promotion to the next class is based upon the cumulative scores achieved by the student at the end of each academic year. Merit Scholarships for diserving candidates have also been introduced.

The School offers a number of Co-curricular activities throughout the year for the common interest of students. The school functions under four houses Viz,: Gandhi House (green), Bhabha House (Blue), Radha Krishan House (Red) and Raman House (Yellow) respectively. Inter House games and competitions such as debates, dramatices, folk dances and yoga classes are being organized regularly.
A Variety of other Co-curricular activities and plans are in the offing in future also. Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basket ball, Badminton and Table Tennis are some of the games that the academy offers. Well planned programmes of study-tours cum excursion are organized on a regular basis which ensure that the students not only learn to love nature but also gain educative experiences. Summer-camps have become very popular with the students and parents alike.

NUR TO CLASS II

Co Curricular activities are essential for all round development of a child's personality. Besides games, art, craft, music & skating classes regularly, the following are some of the activities that form an integral part of curriculum at IIMT.

Every student is expected to participate in these activities organised on Friday/Saturday. Besides the above we have Grand Parents Day and Sports Meet, for all these classes.
