B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)

The college provides theoretical as well as practical experiences for performing duties as a secondary school teacher in the following teacher developmental activities:
(a) Administration, Scoring and Interpretation of Psychological Test.
(b) Operation of Audio-Visual Equipments.
(c) Construction of Test Items and Examination Question Papers
(d) Case Study / Action Research
(e) Scouting and Guiding
(f) Work with Community
(g) Participating Cultural Activities
(h) Physical Exercise, Games and Sports.

Besides the above distinctive features the college helps the prospective teachers (B.Ed. Students) to learn and implement the organization of Seminar, Workshop, Debates, Quiz, Excursions, Writing articles for publication in journals and magazines and above all the art and skill of speaking on IIMT Radio 90.4 FM.

M.Ed. (Master of Education)

The basic objective of running the M.Ed. degree course in our college is to equipt the students who eligible to take admission in this course, with latest & advanced knowledge about teacher education program within & outside the country. Need to say the college has educational literature which is helpful in achievement of this objective. Beside the college provides research environment helpful in the development of research skills research aptitude, ability to evaluate educational research studies conducted in different field of education. Our M.Ed. course in addition to the above is also providing such teaching learning facilities & learning environment, which is conducive for developing specialist in education so that they are able to help nation in not only understanding the current problems affecting the objectives of education at all stages of education but also in developing consciousness among the people ability the importance of use of technology in education as well as in achieving 100% literacy.
