Information Technology

The Information Technology (IT) Industry is one of the most rapidly growing Industry which encompasses Computer Hardware Software and Telecommunications. This is one of the new field of study making a major contribution to the promotion of the National Infrastructure and Major Strategic Technologies as well.
The aim of this course is to produce Researchers who will contribute to the Research and Development field, Engineers who lead Manufacturing Industries and Managers who supervise and Maintenance and Administration of the Network System.

Computer Science and Engineering

For Computer Professionals Computer Science graduates can begin their career as Computers Consultant, R&D Engineers and in number of other Computer related jobs.

The Computer Science Department is self driven proactive nerve center which caters to the ever growing technology in the sphere of academic, research and training. Computer Science is the study of principles, applications and technology of computer. It involves the study of Data and Data Structure, Principles of Data Architecture, both Hardware and Software, Problem Solving and Design Methodologies, Computer related topics such as Numeric Operation Research and Artificial Intelligence, Language Design and Structure of Translation Technique.
Computer Science and Engineering have become interdependent on each other. The reason being the impact of computerization and its versatile capabilities to enhance, efficiency, speed, accuracy and economy in work culture.


Electronics and Communication Engineering

An Electronic and Communication Engineer can be employed in Public and Private Sector Industries and Organizations such as the Indian Telephone Industries MTNL, National Physical Laboratories, AIR, Civil Aviation and Police Wireless Departments.
These engineers are also absorbed into the Entertainment Transmission Industry, Research Establishments and Defence. They can also take up teaching and research as profession in Engineering Colleges in India or Abroad.
