  1. The fact that you have chosen to be a teacher in a Secondary Institution is, indeed a welcome decision of your life. I think, you will be curious to know why do I say so. The reason is that it is the teacher who has the unique opportunity to develop personality of the learners, to create a democratic society and above all to develop human values among the learners, the citizens of tomorrow of our country characterized by distinctive socio-cultural heritage from the ancient period.
  2. The National Education Commission (1964-66) also shares my thinking the regard too, is of the view that the destiny of a nation is shaped in this classroom. It hardly needs any reason to support the basal truth that the person, who is constantly engaged in transacting the curriculum to learner, is the “teacher”. It is he who designs teaching situations and implements these in or out side classroom situations.
  3. Preceding researches on teaching effectiveness and competence have convincingly established that the ability to design a teaching situation or to transact a curriculum to the learner primarily depends on conditions, situations and reinforcements that exist in a teacher education institution.
  4. It is my cardinal belief that our college offers you such conditions, which may actualize your teaching potential and thereby pave the path of your teaching effectiveness, which will be manifested when you will become a teacher in a Secondary Institution.
  5. Our College offers you a teaching-learning climate, which may help to develop the teaching potential in herent in you and thereby lead you towards the achievement of teaching excellence in you.
  6. Our total instruchonal programme is governed by the ordinances, rules and regulations, prescribed by C.C.S University, Meerut for its B.Ed degree course.
  7. With best wishes for an academically fruitful and productive interactive environment during the current academic year.

Dr. K.G. Sharma

Director, College of Medical Sciences , Meerut

In India, Pharmaceutical profession is making phenomenal progress. In industry during 2010 we may be exporting as much as we are consuming in the country. Eight of our manufacturing units are approved by the U. S. F.D.A. for basic drugs and dosage forms. We have 1, 50,000 pharmacies in urban areas. Our registered pharmacists number is more than 5,00,000 almost the same as registered doctors.
We have about 575 pharmacy colleges for the degree course admitting 30,000 students yearly and 525 institutions admitting about 29,000 students for the diploma in pharmacy course.
When an individual graduate is a pharmacist, he is expected to equip himself to dispense the prescription judiciously, counsel patients, caution on drug adverse effects able to manage and run an industry, participate in production, quality control and research in an industry, exhibit himself productively in pharmacy drug marketing etc.
Similarly the health care professionals as microbiologists, biotechnologists, physiotherapists etc, due to globalization of health care services, are able to get opportunities for professional service with due recognition.
At the level of an institute it is the combined effort of faculty and management to mould the students into responsible pharmacists with the above qualities to serve the society. Simultaneously it is the responsibility of the student to utilize the facilities, follow the rules and discipline and utilize the experience and skills available at institute.
Thus we the management and staff are continuously involved in improving our infrastructure, facilities and services to student like campus placement, industrial training, industrial visit, facilitation for research etc. we await with eagerness to see our student grow and serve the society.
Let us put hands together, serve the society and place foot print on the sands of time.
