Meerut University, originally Chaudhary Charan Singh University, is a university in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. In 1965, the university was founded. After former Indian Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, it was renamed to its current name.
The university offers a variety of academic programmes, including humanities, science, law’ BA LLB Course, and management. Undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, and certificate programmes are available in a variety of fields, including law, management, and information technology. There are around thirty-five departments and eight faculties that offer these courses. Hundreds of colleges are associated with the university, offering a wide range of courses.
Students at the university apply for a variety of scholarships granted by the Uttar Pradesh government. The university has a sprawling 222-acre campus that spans the whole district. And, each year, around 1000 students apply for admission to the university’s various programmes.
