A law Graduate in order to practice Law in India needs to get oneself registered under the Bar Council of their respective states and within two years after getting oneself registered in the respective State bar council and under advocates act. One needs to clear an entrance test to get oneself registered in All India Bar Council and to practice law throughout the territory of India.

Bar Council of India every year organizes All India Bar Exam twice a year for aspiring law graduates to practice law in India .
