Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) plays a crucial role in steering an institution toward academic excellence by implementing and monitoring quality enhancement measures. It is responsible for developing and applying quality parameters across various academic and administrative activities, ensuring continuous improvement.
Objectives of IQAC:
· •To establish a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to enhance academic and administrative performance.
· •To promote institutional quality enhancement through the internalization of best practices and a strong quality culture.
Key Functions of IQAC:
1. Enhancing Student Placement Readiness – Strengthening the teaching, learning, and development processes to equip students for career opportunities.
2.Integration of ICT in Education – Encouraging the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
3. Faculty Development Programs – Conducting training programs for faculty to enhance their knowledge, skills, and teaching methodologies.
4.Staff Development Initiatives – Organizing skill enhancement programs for administrative and support staff to boost efficiency and competency.
5.Strong Mentor-Mentee System – Establishing a structured mentoring framework to support student development and guidance.
6.Academic Support for Slow Learners – Implementing remedial measures to assist students who require additional academic support.
7.Outcome-Based Education (OBE) – Fostering an educational approach that focuses on achieving specific learning outcomes.
8.Knowledge-Enriching Events – Hosting webinars, guest lectures, and seminars to promote continuous learning and exposure to new ideas.
