The institute has well established state-of-art laboratories for all courses. The infrastructure also includes computer laboratories sufficiently equipped with the latest tools and software. Mass Communication course also has exceptional facility of Lab created to focus on the use of different technologies in the related field. Various aids and tools for audio and video amalgamation are also of great advantage to students.

IIMT has a state-of-art auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 1000 people, equipped with advanced technology and presentation tools. At IIMT we place great importance on holistic and co-holistic development of each student and lay due emphasis on nurturing the emotional, spiritual, mental and physical well-being by engaging them in various kinds of cultural activities. The institute has more than 5 seminar halls for each block to execute a galore of activities and top class programmes.

The institute has 4 hostels available for boys and girls both separately with more than 400 rooms in total having the accommodation of 800 students on a twin-sharing basis and single handled rooms too. Each hostel has a dining hall and canteen, wi-fi facility, water coolers and a visitors' lounge.
Besides this at IIMT there is residential area for faculty and staff members too as to make them comfortable who have come from the nook and corner of the world.

A well-stocked library is considered to be the heart of any academic institution, and so is at IIMT.IIMT has overall 7 libraries situated in different wings and its each library is equipped with latest books, magazines, national and international journals, e-books for reference of students. Library is designed to provide comfort and user friendly ambience that promotes learning beyond classrooms. It has an institutional membership with DELNET and British Council Library and so on.

IIMT has a centralized cafeteria conveniently located around lush green area and other mini refreshment joints are popular gathering places for students, faculty members and staff to eat, study, or socialize with peers.
