Along with teaching, IIMT understands that learning is a lifelong process and to learn specific things we need some kind of training, so for them, there is training also for IIMTians.
Knowledge alone is not able to make the students successful. To achieve specific goals training is given to improve students capability, capacity, productivity and performance. In simple words, it means training is imparting knowledge through some practical experiences and developing oneself to become competent in specific domain.

Significance of Training:
Training gives strength, confidence, and capability to accomplish assigned tasks. It provides greater clarity and the attributes and competencies that one would like to bring to a potential job. It is a bridge between human weak lines and work tasks.

Training Tools :


All skillful trainers at IIMT adopt various methodologies and use different many tools to make their presentation to be more effective and meaningful. Some tools used by our trainers are :-
Simulators :
Trainers at IIMT use simulators as this is the most powerful virtual or artificial platform or tool to develop the skills required to complete the job/task in an artificial or virtual environment and just before something may go wrong in a real-time or in an actual environment, the learners can correct themselves without any harm. Majorly, it is a tool used in defence industries, and by the corporate (client handling situations).
Role Plays:
Trainers at IIMT give learners to take a lead over the situation and act as iconic role model to overcome on their own weakness and gain the confidence. Using this tool, all aspects are closely observed and rectified with complete feedback system.
Case Studies:
Case studies are one of the best practices and applied as training tool since time immemorial. The learners learn from these case studies which make them prepare about how to win over in such similar situations of the case study they had gone through. It is one of the old and best methods in applied at IIMT like many institutions and industries and a popular practice to impart training.
LMS (Learning Management System):
IIMT owns an LMS which is a huge digital learning platform, having vast and varied, rich and updated contents about almost all facets of education and life aspects and where one can enhance, share and test their knowledge.
Guest Lectures:
Inviting distinguished speakers and experts of their field is an ongoing and continuous process at IIMT. Such guest lectures not only gives the expert opinions on the subject matter but also keep them well updated. It is most important asset to enhance knowledge. Guest Lecture is meant for new ideas and widen the perspective of learners. Guest lecture become blessings and benefits to all our students.
Industrial Visit:
Industrial visits are common and regular practice at IIMT. It is an important aspect to acquire the practical knowledge for students. Learning is an ongoing process and it is a good blend of theoretical and practical knowledge.
Video Training:
It is an online and offline platform, where videos can be saved and trainees can learn and enhance their skills as per their convenience at IIMT.
Brainstorming:
IIMT gives a better exposure and equal opportunity to all its students to lead, participate and perform in such brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and how to act upon them. It is an exercise where an individual and group of trainees are asked to think on their deepest level with critical reasoning and come out with proper and rational outcome.
Workshops:
It is one of the oldest and effective forms of training, applied at IIMT. Here the practical knowledge is shared and minutes and all that nitty gritty of a process are discussed.
Internships:
IIMT Offers regular internship programs at industry and corporate levels that gives the real time experience to an intern to learn the basics on job training, here new trainees learn the real time challenges. It is one of the most practical approach to train people.
Empathy Procedure:
The prime objective is to understand the challenges from the other person’s perception. Here, emotional intelligence plays a vital role. IIMT organizes such psychological trainings that help a person to build a positive attitude about life and professional aspects.
Questionnaires:
The idea behind this exercise is to understand the mindset of the trainees/people, accordingly guidance and help is provided in the weaker areas.
Assignments:
The objective of this practice is to make the trainees perfect and confident.
