The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, established in 2005 having an intake of 120 seats, offers B. Tech course.
The department regularly conducts industrial visits, workshops, seminars, guest lectures. All this together makes it a desirable and sought after preposition to take admission into.
The department lays emphasis on deep understanding of fundamental principles and knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, computer architecture and microprocessors, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Analog & Digital communication, Digital Signal Processing, microwave and mobile communication.

Learning of low power Microcontrollers, and how to utilize controllers for making low power embedded systems. This is the requirement of semiconductor and embedded industry. Our engineering students get the flavour of the utilization and importance of low power design for industrial applications.
This facility is utilized by mainly the Final year, Pre Final year & Second year UG students of EC students to have a practical exposure to the application of Industrial embedded system, IOT’s and sensors.
