About Students Club


Hobbies, interests, aptitudes, and orientations, and also to bring them together in academic grooming, the IIMT College of Engineering is ready with its different student clubs. The NCC/NSS Club prepares them for a disciplined life, making them ready for social causes. The sports club teaches them the valuable adage, ‘All work and no play makes Jack a lazy boy.’ This club organizes various competitions and tournaments. The Science Club raises awareness and concern for scientific issues in personal, social, environmental, and technological contexts. The Environment Club is a group of students, faculty, and staff who work to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote eco-friendly practices. The Cultural Club promotes awareness and appreciation of the diversity in Indian society. They become culturally sensitive taking part in the events of this club. The different clubs amusingly strengthen them with multitasking, organization skills, team-building skills, leadership skills, and service-mindedness. Students association with various clubs gives them ample opportunity to showcase their domain interests and balance between work and hobbies. It also enhances their resume.

NCC/NSS Club

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a voluntary Indian military cadet corps, headquartered in New Delhi, established in 1948 under the National Cadet Corps Act. It consists of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, aiming to groom youth into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The corps recruits cadets offering basic military training in small arms and parades. Officers and cadets have no active military service obligations but are given preference based on corps achievements.

Environment Club

The Environment Club at IIMT College of Engineering in Greater Noida is a group of students, faculty, and staff who work to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote eco-friendly practices. Some of the activities that an environment club may undertake include: organizing campaigns to raise awareness about environmental issues, hosting competitions such as quizzes, poster contests, and debates. Organizing annual eco-meetings and vacation programs for students. Visit environmentally important sites, such as wildlife parks, polluted areas, and degraded sites. Programs to raise awareness about personal hygiene habits, such as washing hands before meals, creating and maintaining biodiversity registers, teaching students how to segregate waste, planting trees, and constructing compost pits. IIMT College of Engineering maintains and intensifies the need for creating various initiatives to educate people and students about environmental issues.

Cultural Club

The Cultural Club at IIMT College of Engineering organizes cultural events and activities for students to showcase their talents and discover new interests. Cultural clubs help students discover their talents and improve their communication skills. Students try new things and find out what they are passionate about. Students can learn to interact with a diverse group of people. Students need confidence to learn about self-presentation, teamwork, and how to handle and learn from criticism while overcoming stage fear.

Sports Club

IIMT College of Engineering's sports club promotes interest in a sport or physical activity. Sports clubs are voluntary and can be recreational, instructional, or competitive. They can help students develop healthy habits, teamwork, discipline, and more. Club sports are more competitive than intramurals and may require tryouts. Club sports entail similar time commitments as sports, including practices and weekend games. Also, clubs offer a variety of sports, including basketball, soccer, water polo, cycling, tennis, football, rugby, and e-Sports, while providing leadership experiences, recreational opportunities, and communication with college officials.

Science Club

The Science Club at IIMT College of Engineering is the platform for students to promote their scientific interests, realize their scientific skills, and fulfill their quest to do science activities. A science club allows students to learn science through hands-on activities outside of the classroom curriculum. It gives students the freedom to explore their ideas and work on projects without restrictions. Key objectives include developing scientific skills and interests while supplementing classroom learning and conducting seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and quiz competitions to inculcate students' knowledge in the field of science.
