Institution's Innovation Council (IIC)
In order to systematically promote the innovation culture and start-up ecosystem in educational institutions through the MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC), the Ministry of Education (MoE) and AICTE launched the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) program for Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) in 2018. In order to create and stabilize the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in HEIs, IICs are primarily in charge of involving a large number of faculty, students, and staff in a variety of innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities, including ideation, problem-solving, Proof of Concept development, Design Thinking, IPR, project handling and management at the Pre-incubation/Incubation stage, and so forth.
Vision
By offering skill development innovation initiatives, we hope to become recognized as an "Institution of Excellence" in innovation, intellectual property rights, product development, and start-up commercialization.
Mission
To establish a dynamic, inventive environment within the institute in order to provide a platform for developing cognitive abilities in faculty and students.
Functions
- IIC IIMT College of Science & Technology faculty and students in Greater Noida will have a unique opportunity to participate in a number of MoE-sponsored innovation competitions and initiatives.
