Program Educational Objectives

PEO1:The graduates will learn the well-defined concepts in the various fields of pharmaceutical sciences to meet the advancement of global health care profession.
PEO2:The graduates will be well equipped with collaborative and interpersonal skills to contribute towards healthcare system.
PEO3: Graduates will participate in life-long learning process for highly productive career and would utilize the pharmacy concepts ethically for serving the cause of the society.

The Vision, Mission and PEOs are like backbone to the program and they need to be defined in such a way that they make the program sound strong, meaningful and seem related to the pharmaceutical world. There are various factors that need to be kept in mind while defining the Vision, Mission and PEOs as they are expected to be in accordance with the regulations laid down by different bodies like PCI, AICTE and the syllabus of the University to which the institute is affiliated to. Apart from these factors, the Vision, Mission and PEOs are defined after taking into account the suggestions given by the internal and external stakeholders. For this, the suggestions from them are invited and collected through forms and those forms are meticulously analyzed by the Director and all the valid points are noted. Points are considered to be valid only if they are vested with interest of the institute, development of pharmaceutical world and society. The institute aims to impart quality education and produces not only noble pharmacists but also responsible and respected citizens who would bring accolades to both the institute and country. After collection of points, the Director who is in charge of defining the Vision, Mission and PEOs hold series of meetings with internal and external stakeholders who debate on each point. The pros and cons are discussed and then final shape is given to the Vision, Mission and PEOs. It is also made sure the Vision, Mission and PEOs complement one another and are not contradicting in any way as they go hand in hand in the success of the institute and assist in achieving the objectives set down by the institute. The words are polished and made to appear crisp thereby expressing required message in less number of words. The language is kept simple so that even a commoner would comprehend without much difficulty. Then final meeting is held with all the stakeholders to get their approval. These Vision, Mission and PEOs are then published in websites and brochures.
