ABOUT IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a key mechanism established in higher education institutions as recommended by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IQAC works towards continuous improvement in academic and administrative performance by developing a quality-assurance framework within the institution.


Purpose of IQAC


- To ensure a consistent, conscious, and catalytic improvement in the institution’s overall performance.
- To promote a quality culture through various academic and administrative initiatives.
- To sustain and enhance quality after NAAC/NBA accreditation.

Objectives

- Develop and apply quality benchmarks for institutional activities.
- Create a learner-centric environment with modern teaching–learning methods.
- Enhance research, innovation, and extension activities.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training programs on quality-related themes.
- Ensure efficient internal communication, documentation, and monitoring.

Functions of IQAC

- Setting quality parameters for academic and administrative tasks.
- Facilitating the collection and analysis of feedback from stakeholders.
- Promoting the adoption of best practices across departments.

- AQAR (Annual Quality Assurance Report)
- SSR (Self-Study Report) for NAAC/NBA
- Maintaining institutional records and documentation for audits.
- Ensuring timely and progressive performance of academic processes.

Composition of IQAC

- Head of Institution (Chairperson)
- Senior administrative officers
- Faculty representatives

- Alumni/industry/community representatives
- External experts
