IIMT College of Science & Technology, Greater Noida came into existence after receiving recognition from NCTE for offering teacher education course to a unit of 100 B.Ed. students during the academic session, 2006-07. The college is situated at Plot no. 20, Knowledge park III, Greater Noida. It is recognized by NCTE and affiliated from C.C.S. University, Meerut. It is a self financed college, managed by seven Rotarians, all of whom are devoted to the service of humanity and downtrodden section of the society. The college is established with a view to mould and shapes the prospective teachers to be competent to transact the curricular experiences to the students of secondary schools and to produce quality teachers with great values so that they could contribute in the task of nation building.

As we know that economic health of a country depends on two aspects, the natural resources and the quality of human resource. It is universally accepted that if a country has effective human resource, it may be economically rich even with lesser natural resources. Quality education has a big role to play in the development of effective human resources. Having realized the importance of education, IIMT College of Science and Technology is conceived with a vision to offer such experiences to students of teacher education as are helpful to them in becoming excellent, a person who not only is endowed with human and teaching professional values but has also the competency to develop these among students, a curious learner who keeps herself/himself abreast with latest trends in knowledge, pertaining to teacher education, an innovator and a creative designer of teaching learning situations.
