Test Pattern

The questions in the test will be based on English Language, Rational Thinking & Reasoning, General Awareness, and IT Awareness, not dependent on the academic syllabus of 10th, 11th & 12th.

The test will be conducted online (students can appear from their homes by using PCs / Laptops / Smart Phones) in two phases: Phase I and Phase II. Only those candidates, who have cleared the threshold level of Phase I, will be able to participate in Phase II.

• Both the test shall be comprised of MCQs of 50 nos. having total marks of 100 each.
• The duration of each test will be 60 minutes.

Scoring: Each correct answer would carry 2 marks and for every wrong answer, 0.5 mark would be deducted.

• Eligibility: Currently studying in 10th, 11th & 12th Grade
• Mode of Examination: Online
• Medium of Test: English
• Entries will be accepted only through the registration link.
• Duration of each test will be 60 minutes.
• Both the test will be comprised of MCQs of 50 nos. having total marks of 100 each. Only one option will be correct. Only those candidates, who have cleared the threshold level of Phase I will be able to participate in Phase II.
• Each correct answer would carry 2 marks and for every wrong answer, 0.5 mark would be deducted.
• In case, two or more participants acquire the same score, then the participant who submits at the earliest will be announced as the winner of the particular position.
• All the participants will abide by the rules and regulations mentioned therein and the decision of the organizing committee will be final.

Syllabus

Question papers will be comprising of questions from English Language (20%), Rational Thinking & Reasoning (50%), General Awareness (20%), and IT Awareness (10%).

English Language (10 questions)

Grammar Concepts – Parts of speech, Pronouns, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Articles, Verbs, Modals, Tenses, Vocabulary: Antonyms, Synonyms, One word substitution, Common errors in sentence construction, Common errors in the choice of vocabulary, Reading Comprehension skills.

Rational Thinking & Reasoning (25 questions)

Analogy, Odd one out, Word formation, Coding decoding, Blood relations, Series test, Direction sense test, Sitting arrangement, Statement and conclusions/assumptions, Assertion and reasoning, Figure Series, Arithmetic and Data Interpretation (charts, etc.), Number-crunching (Arithmetic) means Average, Ratio, Time & Work, Rate, Profit & Loss, Partnership, Clocks, Volume & surface area, Simple & compound interest.

General Awareness (10 questions)

Awareness about the current affairs related to Sports Events, Awards and Honors, Science Inventions and Discoveries, Books and Authors, Indian Politics, Who is Who, Books and Authors, Abbreviations, Important Days and Weeks, International and National Organizations.

IT Awareness (5 questions)

Awareness about the usage of IT and related technologies in daily life including the Internet, Social Media, Smart Phones, Emails, Word processing.
